Low-Latitude Ionsphere Sector Model (LLIONS)
The Low-Latitude Ionosphere Sector Model (LLIONS) is a physics-based ionosphere model that provides a specification of the ionosphere in a single magnetic field meridion. The meridion is specified by the user and LLIONS solves the ionosphere conditions between -45 and +45 degrees magnetic latitudes. Major ion species densities, ion temperature and electron temperature are determined. It can be driven by ionosphere observations to provide an excellent weather NOWCAST.
