Many consider Vince Eccles to be the Uriah Heep of the office. He often quotes his favorite inspirational author, Mark Twain, "To succeed in life you need two things: ignorance and confidence." Vince is an excellent example of Twain's wisdom.
Vince received his PhD in Physics from Utah State University in 1988. Upon closer inspection, the PhD on his diploma was for 'Post-Hole-Digger'. Indeed, most of his research involved a shovel. His dissertation was entitled 'Examination of Black Holes in Southern Utah using David Einstein's General Theory of Relatives'. It has received very little attention in any field.
