Current responsibilities include instrumentation interface development and software design under Linux for the RIFS ionospheric forecasting project and for HF propagation studies. Instrumentation includes a magnetometer, GPS-based measurements, a small ionosonde, and computer-operated HF receivers. Data are acquired in near-real-time via the Internet for use in models and simulations.

Development is carried out at the SEC office in Providence and at Utah State's Bear Lake Observatory. An HF propagation monitoring site has also been established at RP Consultants in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

In addition to the projects at SEC, I am working on a doctorate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of Utah State University. See also:
