Don Rice
Don Rice (the "emergency backup Don") is supposed to be working on
a doctoral degree in electrical engineering at Utah State, but instead
spends time connecting random bits of equipment to computers at
Corporate Headquarters and at Bear Lake Observatory. Ultimately this
work will provide a detailed picture of the ionosphere over northern
Utah. The purpose of this activity isn't clear, but it is either to provide
early warning of the End of the World, or perhaps to communicate with
space aliens. Either way, it is more lucrative than doing classwork
at USU.
But then, what isn't?
